What is an MSP?
A managed services provider (MSP) delivers outsourced IT services and consulting. They give you the ability to partially or completely outsource your technology needs, which saves you from the expense and risk of hiring internal IT staff. At Fidelis, we are specialists who provide IT tools, know-how, and support at affordable monthly rates so you can focus on your operations.
MSPs engage in proactive monitoring of their clients’ IT environments, enforcing comprehensive maintenance and management protocols to minimize disruptions and optimize performance. In contrast, break-fix providers usually react to downtime-causing issues only once they have been identified by staff. While the latter may be cheaper, they inevitably result in greater long-term costs and significantly more risk.
When evaluating MSPs, inquire about their response times, issue resolution speed, availability of a service level agreement, and whether they offer a performance-based cancellation option. Be wary of MSPs who lack local resources and offer only remote, out-of-time-zone service. Be especially careful with vendors requiring long-term contractual commitments.

Unlike many MSPS, we do not hire third parties to deliver our services. We’re a full-service business technology organization. Our consultants and engineers, help desk team, onsite and remote support technicians, project team, training team, and network cabling and infrastructure division are all Seattle-based Fidelis employees.
Monday to Friday our team will review and assess all support requests within 60 seconds. Saturdays, Sunday, and outside of regular business hours, our on-call technicians will respond to your request within 30 minutes.

We provide a help desk technician immediately or give you the option of scheduling a support session, remotely or onsite, at your convenience.
We facilitate multiple regulatory compliance requirements such as HIPAA, PCI, SOX, GDPR, and others.

Pricing for monthly FiMSP Managed and Co-Managed plans is laid in detail on our pricing page. Uniquely, we bill you in arrears, meaning if your headcount increases or decreases during a month, our billing adjusts to reflect these changes. This monthly flexibility affords your business an added level of agility.

Fidelis was founded in Seattle in 2008 by Scott Wittstock, formerly a US Marine and currently an IT communications engineer and business owner. Fidelis has grown to a team of 25+ engineers and customer service agents working from our own building in Renton.
